Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients across multiple industries.

You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of auditors to ensure successful completion and execution of assigned engagements. This includes executing audits for large proprietary and listed companies ranging in size and industry.

You will also be responsible for completing planning sections of audit files without supervision. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to develop Financial Audit strategies and methodologies for clients.

In this role, you will work closely with Senior Managers to identify potential problem areas or budget difficulties. You will also coordinate engagements without manager assistance, reporting directly to Partners where appropriate.

One of your key responsibilities will be to have awareness of reporting and regulatory requirements across various frameworks. You will also be responsible for analysis and documentation of internal controls and control environments.

Furthermore, you will draft management letters and completion reports. You will also coach and mentor junior colleagues and build internal relationships.

Liaising with clients and identifying future opportunities is also a key aspect of this role.

About You: Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • 4+ years external audit experience in a large professional services firm.
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) – highly regarded but not essential.
