HBF Australia is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial accounting, controls, statutory and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Accounting and Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Statutory and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory and regulatory reports, including tax returns and other compliance documents.
- Financial Controls and Risk Management: Develop and maintain effective financial controls and risk management processes to ensure the integrity of our financial systems.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including management and other finance team members, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure our financial reporting and controls remain current and effective.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification: Must hold a CA qualification from a recognized accounting body.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a large commercial organization, with a strong background in financial accounting and reporting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS, and a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
