Animal Management and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Animal Management and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Yarra City Council.
Responsibilities- To undertake investigations, resolve requests, and take appropriate enforcement action to obtain compliance with Local Laws, Domestic Animal Act 1994, Environmental Protection Act 2017, and other relevant legislation within the municipality.
- To assist with the service and delivery of animal-related inquiries, including park patrols and transport of impounded animals to the Lost Dogs Home.
- To respond to enquiries, complaints, and general correspondence from internal and external stakeholders within Council timelines and standards.
- To conduct investigations, instigate appropriate enforcement action, conduct interviews of those involved, and prepare briefs of evidence.
