Senior Data Protection Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to provide expert support and maintenance services for midrange backup systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Primary contact for incident, problem, and change activities
- Implementation and ongoing management of backup services across multiple platforms
- Expertise in supporting and managing Commvault environments
- Design, build, and scale backup infrastructure to meet current requirements and growth
- Maintaining accurate technology documentation
- Managing escalation procedures for major incidents with the Team Leader and/or Major Incident Management team
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent qualification; NetApp, Commvault, EMC, VMware certification desirable
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification advantageous
- Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience in data protection engineering
- Desirable experience in storage engineering
- Strong understanding of NetApp storage system integration (CIFS permissions) within Active Directory infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with NetApp FC and iSCSI storage for VMWare vSphere and Microsoft Exchange/SQL
- Able to translate complex storage architecture requirements into practical solutions
- Excellent communication skills and strong technical acumen
