Data Engineer - Cloud Architecture
As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based architectures to support our business goals.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as strong expertise in data engineering, architecture, and infrastructure.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines, monitoring, and security.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement cloud-based architectures for data pipelines, including CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and release management.
- Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps teams, and SREs to maintain high system uptime and resilience.
- Develop real-time monitoring dashboards and alerts for data pipeline performance and failures.
- Work with observability tools to track latency, errors, and throughput.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, AWS Step Functions etc.).
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, workflow scheduling, and automation.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related field/relevant experience.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and pipeline workflows.
