Job Title: Research Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse / Coordinator to support the coordination and management of lung transplant clinical trials and research activities in our Department of Respiratory Medicine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of our post lung transplantation biobank, enrolling patients into clinical research projects, and assisting with Ethics and Research documentation. Occasional weekend on-call duties may also be required.

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum 5 years acute nursing experience, be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA, and be proficient in venopuncture. Respiratory and relevant transplant nursing experience is an advantage, as is clinical research experience and data management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of our post lung transplantation biobank
  • Enroll patients into clinical research projects
  • Assist with Ethics and Research documentation

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
  • Minimum 5 years acute nursing experience
  • Proficient in venopuncture
  • Respiratory and relevant transplant nursing experience (an advantage)
  • Clinical research experience and data management skills (an advantage)
