Recycling Operator

We are seeking a skilled Recycling Operator to join our team at Cleanaway. As a Recycling Operator, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain recycling equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Use a forklift when required to assist with the movement of materials, though the bulk of the role will involve labouring tasks.
- Monitor the flow of materials to ensure optimal processing.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure functionality.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to production and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
You have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, with a willingness to take on physical tasks. Your ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment will be key to your success in this role.
Requirements- Experience in a recycling or waste management facility is preferred, but not required.
- Forklift license is essential, as you will operate a forklift when needed.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
