About the Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant.

This is a permanent position that offers flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week after probation.

The role is open to Australian citizens or permanent residents, and provides an opportunity to contribute to the growth of our organization in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior members to ensure project deliverables meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with clients to provide accounting and advisory services.
  • Lead and review financial statement preparation for various entities.
  • Contribute to staff training, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Participate in professional development seminars, team meetings, and social events.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2.5 years' experience in public practice accounting.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
