About the Role
As a casual midwifery assistant, you will collaborate with women, VMOs, and other maternity care providers to ensure centred maternity care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to women and their families within the midwifery scope of practice and level of experience.
- Assess patients using therapeutic skills.
- Answer patient enquiries.
Requirements:
- Completion of Year 1 of Bachelor of Midwifery.
- Current enrolment in the Bachelor of Midwifery course with a satisfactory academic record maintained.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work effectively.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Flexibility to manage shift work over 7 days.
