Early Childhood Educator Role

About the Position:

This part-time role involves working with kindergarten and pre-prep students who have completed a Diploma in Children's Services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum programs tailored to individual student needs
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment through effective planning and collaboration
  • Work closely with other educators to achieve educational objectives
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and well-being
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting as required

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma of Children's Services (minimum level of qualification)
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management certification
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Child Safety Training, including Mandatory Reporting provided by the institution
