Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cutting Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a key member, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our brand new Biesse Beam Saw.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have previous experience on a Beam saw or in a similar field, with a strong understanding of safety procedures and policies. You will work closely with our Manufacturing Coordinator to ensure deadlines are met and maintain high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Maintain the Biesse Beam saw
  • Perform periodic maintenance checks and tests to ensure it runs at its best
  • Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure safety of self and others
  • Work closely with our Manufacturing Coordinator to ensure deadlines are met

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience on a Beam saw advantageous but not essential
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Experience in the joinery/cabinet making industry preferred
  • Forklift Licence
  • Valid Drivers Licence

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 6am to 2:30pm, Friday 6am to 12pm.
