The OpportunityAs a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice, you'll be part of our Fleet Services team, responsible for maintaining our buses in top condition. You'll work with experienced staff who will mentor you in technical skills and support your career growth.
With a focus on safety, cleanliness, and reliability, our team ensures our customers receive exceptional service. You'll have opportunities for career progression, both locally and interstate.
Our Launceston depot is the perfect place to start and complete your apprenticeship with a transport industry leader. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values talent development and leadership.
What We're Looking For- Willingness to obtain a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Willingness to obtain your Class C Driver's License once of age
- Ability to participate in short-term inter-depot travel for technical learning experiences
- Good communication and computer skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Competitive hourly pay rates: Junior Apprentice $18.65/h, Adult Apprentice $32.87/h
- Uniforms supplied
- Ongoing support and mentorship from experienced workshop staff
