About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic at Veolia, you will be part of a close-knit team responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing our modern Heavy Vehicle Fleet. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all vehicles operate at maximum efficiency in a safe and environmentally sound manner, adhering to regulatory and Veolia requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment, including Commercial Service Vehicles, Industrial Service, and High Pressure Water Jetting fleet and accessories.
- Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner.
- Accurately complete work orders and part requisitions daily.
- Monitor stock and part levels, reporting any discrepancies.
Requirements
- Australian recognized Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate.
- Proven mechanical knowledge and experience within the automotive repair industry.
- Forklift ticket, elevated work platform ticket, and working at heights ticket (desirable).
