This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payments Specialist to join a leading fintech organisation and drive innovation in payments and digital transformation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining payment systems, integrating with financial partners, and optimising transaction processing platforms.

  • Design, build, and maintain payment systems (processing, authorisation, settlement, reconciliation)
  • Integrate with banks, gateways, and fintech partners
  • Deliver features in collaboration with product managers and architects
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, PSD2, ISO 20022
  • Troubleshoot and optimise performance for high-volume transaction flows
  • Contribute to modernisation, moving legacy systems to cloud-native microservices
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • A strong background in software engineering
  • 3–6 years' experience in software engineering
  • Experience with fraud detection or AI/ML monitoring
  • Strong DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, monitoring, observability)
