About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Line Worker to construct, install and maintain our distribution electricity networks in a safe and efficient manner.

The successful applicant will possess strong technical knowledge and experience working on overhead and underground line networks as well as exposure to external best practice methods in a comparable environment.

  • Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams
  • Undertake construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
  • Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets.
About You

The ideal candidate will hold a current electrical licence, be glove & barrier qualified, have a valid Australian drivers licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable) and white/blue card.

  • Hold a current Tasmania Electrical Licence
  • Glove & Barrier qualified
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable)
  • White/Blue card
  • The incumbent may be required to travel within the state including overnight or longer stays as required and will conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.

This role involves constructing, installing and maintaining our client's distribution electricity networks in a safe and efficient manner.
