Job Summary

Sandvik is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and performance of our workshop facility. This is a full-time requirement working 8 days on and 6 days off with 12.25-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technicians, ensuring they meet quality, productivity, and safety standards.
  • Plan and allocate service tasks to technicians based on job requirements and team capacity.
  • Monitor projects / jobs to ensure compliance with costing and time schedules.
  • Cultivate and maintain a safety-first culture by actively leading safety initiatives.
  • Ensure effective WIP management, and that completed work is invoiced promptly.

Requirements

  • Trade qualification in Engineering or Automotive Trades.
  • Strong background in managing heavy mobile equipment, ideally with Sandvik UG products.
  • Proficient in implementing continuous improvement methodologies to enhance workshop efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to client sites is required.
