About the Opportunity

We seek a qualified tradesperson to join our team as a Workshop Fitter on a Monday to Friday schedule with family friendly hours of 6 AM – 2:06 PM.

The overall purpose of this position includes diagnosing, overhauling and testing components to a high quality standard in a professional, timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul all minor and major hydraulic and mechanical components from our equipment range
  • Ensure all work carried out is performed in a safe manner
  • Undertake basic maintenance work
  • Conduct basic failure analysis and identify specific modes of failure
  • Timely and accurate completion of all relevant paperwork
  • Assess component condition, develop a detailed inspection report and scope of work required including parts listing
  • Test remanufactured components, conduct quality checks and audits
  • Assist with the development and review of relevant safe work procedures
  • Provide professional and timely customer service
Required Skills and Qualifications

A strong safety focus with a good understanding of WHS principles is essential for this role. You will require a relevant trade qualification and preferably previous experience with the overhaul, repair and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components.

Good communication skills and a dedication to providing high quality work in a timely manner are also required. A strong and positive team focus is highly valued.
