Electrical Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Field Service Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy.

As an Electrical Field Service Specialist, you will perform critical tasks including HV statutory testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical installations with precision and dedication. You will work closely with a professional and positive team to ensure seamless delivery of projects.

Critical responsibilities include:

  • Performing HV statutory testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical installations with precision and dedication.
  • Working closely with a professional and positive team to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to essential core values.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Hold NZ citizenship & NZ electrical license.
  • Possess experience with HV & LV electrical switchgear and systems.
  • Have exposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilities.
  • Be experienced in High Voltage switchyard and substation maintenance, minor works & upgrades.
  • Have experience with High Voltage cable terminating, jointing, repairs & testing.
  • Desirable: Experience with protection equipment associated with HV systems.
  • Service experience in the electrical trades/technical roles.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service.
  • Team orientated person.
  • Ability to adapt to fast changing environments and situations.
  • Ability to learn quickly and deliver to set timeframes.
  • Prepared to travel regularly.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Electrical trade qualifications.
  • HV Switching certificate – desirable but not essential.
