Job Description

As a WHS Compliance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to review and verify vendors' work, health, safety, and environment documentation against our prequalification scheme requirements. You will also provide coaching and support on WHS matters to ensure internal KPIs and customer satisfaction standards are met.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, working across our South Bank and Scoresby offices with hybrid working arrangements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting WHS assessments to determine vendor capability
  • Reviewing WHS assessment submissions within agreed timelines
  • Assisting vendors in closing gaps in their WHSE systems
  • Conducting risk reviews in line with QA requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 2-3 years of previous experience within a WHS operational environment
  • Safety management and audit skills desirable
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to WHS compliance
  • Ability to engage stakeholder groups and bring people on board
  • A problem-solving mindset to mitigate future issues
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills supporting diverse stakeholder groups
