Job Opportunity:

WA Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our team in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients via Telehealth conferencing technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and advanced nursing skills, with the ability to build capacity of clinicians within the regions. They will be responsible for providing generalist clinicians with after-hours palliative care expertise via high definition video consultation to support clinicians and provide specialist care to patients of rural and remote Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse to make a real difference in the lives of patients and communities in rural and remote Western Australia.

The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care, with a focus on improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients via Telehealth conferencing technologies
  • Build capacity of clinicians within the regions through leadership and advanced nursing skills
  • Provide generalist clinicians with after-hours palliative care expertise via high definition video consultation
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful applicant will hold a current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

They will also possess a valid working visa (for fixed-term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
