Residential Aged Care Cleaning Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a residential aged care home, providing high quality cleaning services for residents.

Job Summary:

As a member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of resident rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality cleaning services for residents, including daily cleaning tasks and deep cleans as required
  • Working as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility
  • Supporting colleagues and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working safely to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, following all policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • A reliable team player
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
