About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as an Aged Care Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to elderly clients in their own homes. As an Aged Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as household chores, personal care, and social support.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general household assistance, including vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds, and washing
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping
  • Preparing meals and providing social support or respite for family members/carers
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential to success in this role.

Key Qualifications:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for caring for others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A reliable and trustworthy approach
  • An understanding of workplace health and safety principles
  • A current Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as we can provide training)
