Antenatal Midwife Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Antenatal Midwife to join our Antenatal Day Assessment Clinic team.

About the Role

As an Antenatal Midwife, you will provide care for antenatal women requiring IV hydration, blood pressure monitoring, CTG assessments, Anti-D administration, early labour assessments, and induction of labour. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders.
  • Provide high-quality care for antenatal women requiring IV hydration, blood pressure monitoring, CTG assessments, Anti-D administration, early labour assessments, and induction of labour.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
  • Minimum three years' experience caring for antenatal women.
  • Strong clinical skills and confidence in managing day assessment needs.
  • Must be competent in CTG assessments.
  • A team player with a kind and professional approach.
