This Business Development Manager - Mining Industry role will report to the National Sales Manager and be responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships with clients, new and existing, within the mining industry.
Key responsibilities for this role are:
- Generating new business opportunities across the mining industry, selling hardware, software, and services.
- Developing and maintaining key relationships with existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
- Effectively collaborating with relevant members of the wider company in selling and implementing core solutions to key clients.
- Communicating with the sales teams, key accounts team, and other relevant members of the wider team, and actively encouraging regular feedback.
- Attending regular team sales meetings and providing feedback on account performance.
- Handling multiple stakeholders at different levels.
- Effective planning to maximize productivity and customer-facing time.
- Supporting and implementing new marketing initiatives.
- Recording and updating the company's CRM system to provide accurate data in terms of integrity and quality.
- Adhering to the company's work Health and Safety policy and procedures.
Essential requirements are:
- Previous sales experience within the heavy industry sector.
- Business development experience within the mining industry.
- Proven track record of developing existing accounts and generating new business opportunities.
- Right to work in Australia.
