Role Overview

The Senior Design Engineer plays a pivotal role in accelerating the delivery of AI-powered features by bridging design and front-end implementation. This position requires a strong balance of visual craft and technical execution, initially focused on GenAI tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build new experiences for GenAI-powered features.
  • Rapid iteration on flows and concepts to support experimentation.
  • Translate design concepts into production-ready components.
  • Build working code prototypes and solutions for rapid iteration and testing.
  • Bridge design and engineering to improve tooling and delivery speed.
  • Maintain and evolve component libraries for AI workflows.
  • Guide designers on AI prototyping best practices, coding principles, and design-to-code methodologies.
  • Provide constructive design and technical feedback.
  • Support accessible, scalable, and aligned work.
  • Maintain high standards for visual and interaction quality.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years in design or front-end product roles.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Design, HCI, CompSci, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio of shipped digital work.
  • Experience with React, Figma, TypeScript, Storybook, Cursor.
  • Active usage of GenAI tools and technologies.
  • Skilled with design systems and prototyping workflows.
