Teaching Swimming and Water Safety

We are seeking individuals to work as swimming instructors for infants, toddlers, children, and adults.

  • Teach swimming lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming environment for all students and families
  • Maintain high-quality teaching standards and adhere to our policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Hold a current AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification

• Possess a strong understanding of child development and learning principles

• Have experience working with children and young people in a teaching or support role

• Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

• Be punctual, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines

• Hold a current CPR qualification or be willing to obtain one

• Be able to commute to our location

• Preferably have minimum one year of swimming teaching experience

• Customer service experience is desirable but not essential

Work Environment and Conditions:

• Casual position with variable hours per week
