We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Support Workers at The Benevolent Society. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in preserving the independence and dignity of our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and house cleaning.
  • Deliver care that is aligned with each client's unique Care Plan, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior, working collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Work as part of a team to create a positive experience for our clients, fostering strong relationships and a sense of community.
  • Provide support with transportation needs, helping clients to access essential services and maintain their independence.
Requirements:
  • A current driver's license and your own vehicle (with comprehensive insurance) to enable you to travel to clients' homes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Flexibility in working hours and approach, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of our clients.
  • A Certificate 3, 4, or diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or a related field.
  • Experience in using mobility aids/hoisting devices is highly valued.
