Women's Health Unit Midwife Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to join our Women's Health Unit team at Norwest Private Hospital. As a midwife in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and their families throughout the various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver postpartum care to women and their newborns
  • Provide antenatal and postnatal education to women and their families
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
  • Minimum of three years' relevant post-registration experience
  • Demonstrated experience in antenatal and postnatal midwifery services
  • Advanced communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
