About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at HealthcareLink Support in Stirling, SA. This is a diverse role that involves working with clients across various settings, including their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain responsibility for a client caseload, ensuring alignment with policies and funding requirements.
  • Perform OT-specific assessments, including home safety, functional, and case management for NDIS participants.
  • Assess, plan, and manage minor and major home modifications to support accessibility and independence.
  • Conduct functional, pre-employment, ADL, workplace, scooter, and vehicle modification assessments.
  • Provide timely written and verbal recommendations and reports.
  • Recommend and prescribe equipment and ongoing therapy support tailored to client needs under NDIS and other schemes.
  • Liaise with clients, families, referrers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated, capacity-building outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (2 doses and booster required)
  • Current valid Driver's License
  • Reliable car
  • Valid Police Check (less than 3 months old)
  • Valid Working with Children's Check
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • NDIS Induction Module
  • Rights to work – Passport/Visa proof
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of the NDIS framework.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrated health, allied health, and primary care, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to organize and proactively manage workload to meet annual performance targets and service objectives.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
