Job Description

This senior role presents an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to take the lead in delivering high-quality care and mentoring junior therapists. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping outcomes for clients and contributing to the development of best practices within the organization.

  • Lead Advanced Care Teams: Manage a diverse caseload, providing advanced care to children, families, and adults, while ensuring seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Mentorship and Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior therapists, empowering them to grow their skills and confidence, and driving team development through guidance and support.
  • Clinical Services Enhancement: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance clinical services, drive best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral networks and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and partnership-building.
Requirements

To succeed in this leadership role, you will need:

  • Extensive Experience: Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, particularly in pediatric and family-focused interventions.
  • Professional Registration: Current professional registration and eligibility for Medicare provider numbers.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of supporting team development and growth.
  • Passion for Excellence: A passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and improving client outcomes.
  • Exceptional Communication: Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships and partnerships.
