This role involves delivering high-quality performance, attribution and analytics services to our asset management businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing daily, monthly and ad-hoc performance and attribution metrics to the investment and distribution teams.
  • Reconciling attribution with portfolio performance.
  • Troubleshooting security analytics and attribution results.
  • Developing dashboards and reporting formats to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborating with other departments to source information as required.
  • Offering insightful analysis on the drivers of return with our portfolios.
About You
  • You should have a degree in Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Post-graduate qualifications such as a diploma, master's degree or certifications like CFA/CIPM are highly regarded.
  • You should have at least one year of experience within performance, analytics or related roles in funds management, superannuation or custody.
  • Experience in equity, fixed income or multi-asset attribution is essential.
  • You should understand commonly used fixed interest and/or multi-asset instruments.
  • A knowledge of performance methodologies is necessary.
  • Experience working closely with investment teams is vital.
  • Solid organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to set and work to priorities and deadlines, are essential.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail and critical thinking skills are required.
  • You must be highly articulate in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong experience using Excel, Word and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and VBA is beneficial.
  • Experience using FactSet is highly regarded.
