Integrated Practice Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Integrated Practice Specialist to join our dedicated team.

  • This role is responsible for designing and implementing the Early Years Integrated Approach that aligns with strategy, culturally responsive approaches and leading-edge sector research.
  • The successful candidate will supervise and support Family Coaches, providing leadership in family-led, culturally responsive, trauma-sensitive delivery environments, ensuring high-quality participant experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing relational frameworks that build capability, trust and connection.
  • Supporting the development of systems and processes within BSL that support integrated practice across portfolios.
  • Building trust and sustained cultural curiosity to engage diverse families through active outreach, supporting them in their journey toward reaching aspirations they hold for their children.
  • Applying creative problem-solving techniques to assist families and communities in achieving their goals.
  • Leading, managing and mentoring Family Coach staff, reviewing performance and providing appropriate feedback to ensure development and high levels of quality service.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with a range of stakeholders including Maternal Child Health and Early Childhood Education and Care partners.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Allied Health or relevant discipline suitable for practice in the Child and Family sector.
  • Strong leadership skills to foster a positive, culturally safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing programs that improve outcomes for culturally diverse children and families.
