Job Summary

This role involves managing the financial performance of a multifaceted business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing month-end closing activities, consolidating data from various entities, and producing timely management reports.

Achieving accurate and efficient financial reporting is crucial to drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-of-month closing procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Deliver variance analysis and commentary against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA/CA/ACCA qualification or near completion.
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in Australian entities with multi-entity or group consolidation exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and technical skills in Excel.
  • ERP/accounting system expertise an advantage.
