Senior Associate Role in Major Projects and Infrastructure Sector.

About the Role

This is a key position in our team, requiring a highly skilled professional to work closely with partners on major projects. As a senior associate, you will be responsible for providing commercial and practical legal advice, supporting client relationships, and contributing to business development and market engagement.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist partners on matters related to procurement and delivery of major projects in construction, infrastructure, resources, transport, and energy sectors.
  • Provide commercial and practical legal advice to clients, support their relationships, and contribute to business development and market engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to a positive and high-performing team culture.

We are looking for an ideal candidate with 6 years or more post-admission experience in a projects, infrastructure or construction practice area, gained within a reputable firm. The successful candidate will possess a proactive, positive, and energetic approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service, a desire to interact with the market, and build client relationships.

The ideal candidate will also have a commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively, strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills, and the ability to be team-focused, provide leadership, and mentoring to juniors in the team, while working independently.
