Job Title: Master Data Specialist

This role involves creating foundation master data for a leading global mining company. As a Master Data Specialist, you will submit requests for the creation of necessary master data in accordance with Master Data Governance Standards.

You will engage with various teams to build SAP Foundation Master Data for projects and review technical documentation to create required Functional Locations. Additionally, you will work with other team members to obtain relevant technical information and create maintenance strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Ops Readiness Asset Integration Lead, MECoE Planning, Finance, and Master Data teams to build SAP Foundation Master Data for projects
  • Review technical documentation from projects and create required Functional Locations
  • Work with Reliability Engineer and Technical Writer to create preventive and corrective maintenance strategies
  • Create Bill of Materials (BOMs) when required
  • Prepare SAP Load Sheets and submit them via Master Data Requests
  • Monitor progress of Master Data Requests until completion
  • Start Maintenance Plans created 4 weeks prior to Load Commissioning

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience creating foundation master data
  • Familiarity with Work Management processes to easily identify similar strategies across Planning, Execution, and Reliability
  • Familiarity with systems and tools used to create master data
  • Familiarity with Risk Management tools used to manage master data
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in relevant maintenance fields
  • Strong attention to detail
