At genU, we are seeking a skilled Learning Design Expert to join our Stakeholder Experience Team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in instructional design and the ability to develop innovative learning materials that meet the needs of adult learners.

This role involves designing, developing, and reviewing engaging learning and assessment materials for accredited and non-accredited courses. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure that all resources align with our learning strategy and deliver exceptional outcomes for learners.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will also have a strong understanding of adult education theory, VET frameworks, and training methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and reviewing innovative learning materials for a range of training products.
  • Designing course content for accredited and non-accredited programs within a VET framework.
  • Applying continuous improvement processes and consulting with industry experts.
  • Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to promote creative approaches to learning design.
  • Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in instructional design or training delivery in an RTO, education, or commercial setting.
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems, and MS Office.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116) or equivalent – beneficial.
  • NDIS Screening Workers Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion – or willingness to obtain.
