Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and processes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement key data governance policies and ensure data integrity, quality, security, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the organization's data governance framework, including policies, standards, processes, and guidelines
  • Support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks and committees
  • Ensure data governance processes are adhered to across the organization
  • Monitor and report on the implementation of data governance initiatives and the effectiveness of controls
  • Assess data risks and work with risk management teams to develop mitigation strategies
  • Assist in audits related to data governance and information security
  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into data governance initiatives, data quality metrics, and compliance performance

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong ability to build rapport with stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • Bachelor's degree in data management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent background)
  • 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a related field
  • Knowledge of or interest in AI ethics, responsible AI practices, and emerging AI governance standards
