Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports, analyzing sales performance, product profitability, and market trends.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create realistic budgets and prepare weekly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels, costs, and financial efficiency, making data-driven decisions to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Revenue & Sales Support: Provide insightful analysis to inform sales strategies, assess promotional impacts on profitability, and drive revenue growth.
  • Month-End Processes: Oversee key month-end tasks, including prepayments, accruals, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.
  • Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain profit margin variances, trends, and anomalies against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
About You
  • Experience: 3+ years in a similar accounting role, preferably in FMCG or a fast-paced industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, experience with financial systems, and ERP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented, capable of meeting tight deadlines, and balancing multiple responsibilities.
  • Team Player: Able to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
