School Administration Officer

The Administrative Officer is a key member of our school team, providing professional, efficient, and effective clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the school. This role is integral to maintaining the day-to-day functions of the school, including managing communications, handling inquiries, organizing records, and assisting staff and students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive support to senior staff and associated school committees.
- Apply inventory and purchasing control procedures to ensure compliance.
- Draft correspondence, including in relation to confidential matters.
- Implement enrolment processes and maintenance of the student database.
- Coordinate school functions and events.
- Assist with the induction of new staff including Casual Teachers.
- Prepare the school budget, preparation of monthly finance accounts/GST reports, school fee billing and payment and recovery of school fees and manage cash management accounts.
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registration.
- First Aid Certificate (Or the willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated ability to operate a range of office equipment and adapt to technology.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional school-based software packages.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to and active engagement in personal and professional development.
