Our company is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Maintenance Operations Specialist. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a trade qualification in an engineering discipline and have extensive experience in maintenance operations. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance programs, repair and replacement of equipment, and managing external contractor engagements.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the business.

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance;
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades;
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers;
  • Provide technical support and expertise to production teams;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and efficiency;

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in an engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical);
  • Extensive experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
  • Proven track record of implementing effective preventative maintenance programs;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
