About the Role

This position will be located at the Melbourne office in a small to medium-sized lab alongside an established Food Technologist. The role will remotely report to the Quality & Safety Manager, who is situated in their regional manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be an integral team member of an organization focused on innovation and product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully scale up and develop new products
  • Improve product simplification and raw material rationalisation
  • Engage and influence stakeholders to complete tasks and projects
  • Facilitate product trials in the factory through scale up and product transfer to manufacturing

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Food Science or Technology
  • Direct experience working in a food-manufacturing environment, preferably in sauces
  • Possess a real passion and enthusiasm for learning, food manufacturing, and process improvement
  • At least 5 years' experience working as a part of an NPD team within a medium-sized organisation
