This is a complex position that requires strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of industrial electrical work, including installation, modification, and fault finding of industrial electrical plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, controlling, and coordinating electrical works, as well as ensuring compliance with Work, Health Safety and Environmental requirements.

About the Role

">

As an industrial electrical supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians and technicians, acting as a supervisor for selected contractors and Person-in-Charge for Hydro Tasmania work parties, and developing and preparing Inspection Record Sheets (IRS's).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior Technicians/Assistants and Apprentices">
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical works to ensure safe and efficient execution">
  • Develop and implement effective Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) documentation">
  • Ensure adherence to Work, Health Safety and Environmental regulations">
  • Monitor and report progress and performance">
