Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Ships Agency Operator in Fremantle, Western Australia.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively coordinate vessel operations from planning arrivals to berthing, loading, and departures.
  • They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth port calls and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • The successful candidate must be prepared to work outside regular hours and weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinating vessel operations from planning arrivals to berthing, loading, and departures in collaboration with all Port Stakeholders.
  2. Working independently and as part of a cohesive team to ensure smooth port calls and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  3. Continuous learning about business opportunities, port activities, and regulatory updates to stay informed and effective in duties.
  4. Be prepared for out-of-hours and weekend work to ensure task completion.
