As an Apprentice Maintenance Fitter, you will have the opportunity to acquire a skilled maintenance trade and work on a wide variety of equipment in modern food production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in safety initiatives to achieve 100% commitment to workplace safety, health and wellbeing
  • Learn industry best practices for preventative maintenance and breakdown activities
  • Use hand tools, electrical and pneumatic powered tools and equipment
  • Welding (TIG, MIG, MMA), sheet metal fabrication and machining components
  • Problem solving and fault finding, interacting with wider Maintenance/Engineering and Production teams
About You
  • Possess a genuine interest in acquiring a mechanical fitting trade
  • Display good basic knowledge of tooling, materials and mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Strong mathematical and English attributes, intermediate IT skills and driver's license required
