Senior Engineering Manager for Commercial Products

At Nine, we're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Commercial Products team. As a people leader, you'll focus on removing blockers, breaking down silos, and championing an iterative, DevOps mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Work with engineering leadership to identify opportunities to improve practices and processes around engineering and delivery.
- Help develop and maintain a strategy to deliver on business goals via system improvements and new functionality.
- Participate in and, when required, facilitate team ceremonies.
- Feed into the product roadmap, especially by identifying opportunities for technical improvement that will deliver business value via improved reliability, performance, and efficiency.
- Focus on team engagement and culture.
- Prior experience leading teams.
- Knowledge of strategic frameworks including OKRs and other outcome-lead performance frameworks.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Strong capabilities in guiding ongoing improvements to Ways of Working and team practices.
- Excellent knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with effective implementation in an environment with low DevOps maturity.
- Experience working with large, inward-facing mission-critical systems.
- Industry experience with broadcast or streaming media beneficial but not required.
