Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience;
  • Supporting colleagues and maintaining a cooperative team spirit;
  • Working safely to protect yourself, your peers, and residents, adhering to policies and procedures.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional care and services to the elderly;
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude;
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential;
  • A good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene;
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse individuals;
  • The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families;
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
