Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at Group Digital. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our digital environment and ensuring the security of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Incident Detection and Response: Actively monitor security alerts and manage day-to-day incident response activities to ensure timely and effective response to cyber threats.
- Threat Analysis and Mitigation: Conduct thorough analyses of security events to identify root causes and recommend improvements to our detection and response strategies.
- Security Tool Management: Provide technical leadership and support for security tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Security Awareness and Training: Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all operational, regulatory, and service-level security requirements are consistently met across the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you'll have demonstrated experience in detecting and responding to cyber threats, ideally within a large-scale enterprise or technology-driven environment. You will possess a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and collaboration.
You'll also bring:
- Previous experience in security operations, including incident detection, analysis, and response.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
- A strong technical background in conducting threat assessments and root cause analyses to improve security controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A solid understanding of security standards and best practices relevant to cybersecurity.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, focused on continuous improvement and enhancing the organisation's security posture.
