About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at Asahi Beverages. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security alerts and manage day-to-day incident response activities.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of security events to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
  • Test and tune existing detection algorithms and develop new detection and prevention mechanisms.
  • Proactively test security controls.
  • Monitor open source security intelligence to alert the business.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for security tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ensure all operational, regulatory, and service-level security requirements are consistently met across the organisation.
About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have demonstrated experience in detecting and responding to cyber threats, ideally within a large-scale enterprise or technology-driven environment. You will possess a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and collaboration. You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience in security operations, including incident detection, analysis, and response.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
  • A strong technical background in conducting threat assessments and root cause analyses to improve security controls.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A solid understanding of security standards and best practices relevant to cybersecurity.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, focused on continuous improvement and enhancing the organisation's security posture.
