Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be tasked with:

  • Upholding high standards of customer service, always keeping our guests in mind.
  • Exhibiting a positive demeanor and taking initiative to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Managing waste by clearing and replacing garbage bins in kitchens and service areas as necessary.
  • Organizing and maintaining the storeroom to ensure efficiency.
  • Cleaning and polishing silverware, copper, and stainless steel items, returning them to their designated storage.
  • Maintaining the polishing machine and deoxidizing bath in optimal condition.
  • Reporting any damaged or missing items to your supervisor.
  • Ensuring your work area is clean and orderly before the end of your shift.
  • Participating in training for additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Operating the automatic dishwashing machine and ensuring all washed items are properly stored.
  • Cleaning floors and tiles in kitchens and service areas to maintain a safe environment.
  • Completing the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) checklist in preparation for service.
  • Performing all duties safely, adhering to workplace safety standards.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • The ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment effectively.
  • A willingness to assist colleagues in various roles as needed.
  • Previous experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is advantageous.
