Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in the Bankstown area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping, as well as providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
  • Delivering personal care, including getting clients ready, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medications, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offering respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.

Requirements:
  • You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • You should be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
  • You should be available to work at least 3 days – Monday to Friday – with no night or weekend work.
